It's Been Ages

Now I have a new show, at the Hess Gallery at Pine Manor College, in Chestnut Hill. The exhibit is called: Caribiana: tropical sights and colors. It will run until August 1 and consists of hanging pieces, wall art and pedestal works.

Artist's talk and reception is on Wed., April 4 from 11:30 am to 1 pm.

I'm curating a fabulous fiber exhibit at the Marblehead Art Association (MAA) in May. Artists, both local and from NY, RI, and NJ will have art on display. Many are members of the wonderful Textile Study Group of New York, an entity that gives art scholarships, as well as providing venues in New York City where their members may show their work.

This show is part of MAA's 90th anniversary festivities.

NEW WORKS EVERY WEEK

My before-the-new-year resolution is to try and post one or more new works every week.

That is not to say I can't break the resolution, just as millions do when they promise to stop smoking, lose weight or stop shoplifting!

But resolve I do. Onward and upward.

My first offering is COLOR POLES. A wooden box 9"x9"x3" with cotton perle wound around 'poles'.
The price is $125. plus shipping.
