Holidays Loom!

The party was amazing was amazing, and I can't believe how wonderfully Jeanette pulled it all off. The invitations, the food, the decor, all the 'guests-from-afar', especially Peter and all my grand-boys! I couldn't thank her enough, but maybe before my 90th birthday, I'll find a way.
Saturday, November 10

10am - 3pm

Centerville Elementary School

17 Hull Street

Now that the party excitement has died down, I have to start thinking about the holidays..... too soon, but true.

Jeanette and I are showing this year in Beverly at the 3rd Annual Holiday Craft Market, November 10 from 10 am to 3 pm. The address is Centerville Elementary School, 17 Hull St..

We are also having our Fourth Annual Holiday Sale here at the clubhouse at Longview at Georgetown (my apartment complex on Patriot Lane). It's later than usual this year, but we will have some wonderful gifts, jewelry and the usual suspects..... Jeanette, my daughter, will have her whimsical gifts and jewelry, Tanya Melanson, her knitted items, and we may be joined by two other guest artists....they're deciding!

I have some great new (and affordable) things this year, especially the new Ribbon Yarn Scarves, which you saw in my last blog....terrible pictures, will post better ones. They come in all sorts of colors and sell for $20.. A wonderful gift for teachers and friends. There will also be a bargain bin at both shows, with amazing items for $5. to $18..  As you can see, I'm trying to help the economy!

Scarf Necklaces

This and That .... mostly that

I've been dyeing a lot of silk these last few days, since the costumes were finished. My Silent Chimes have been selling so well that I make some whenever I can to keep up with the sales at The Little Beach Gallery in Hyannis. Maybe they'll sell as well in Melrose, at the new gallery, Hourglass.

Coco Chanel, my 'chat', has suddenly developed the urge to barf all over the place and has me washing duvet covers,  pillows and her cat bed. Took her to the vet and he said it was probably hair balls, so now we medicate and wait for a hairy barf..... life with animals is so thrilling.

Went to the latest opening at MiXt Media Gallery tonight and met a lot of very nice people.
Susan Burton, the owner, loves my work so much the place is full of my 'stuff'..... Cindy says I shouldn't call it that, but artwork doesn't do it for me!).  I told her soon we'd have to call it the Golbert Gallery. Now all we have to do is sell some!

I shouldn't say that, because in an hour and a half interval, they sold three of my Scarf Necklaces! They're different and the price is right, soooo.... see pics.
