The 'Real' Birthday.

Today is the real birthday, despite the Oct. 13th surprise bash. I don't feel 3/4 of a century old, which is a problem, as I find myself 'lurching' instead of taking it slow, as I'm supposed to do. I have to learn to 'snail' it.

No matter, Advil to the rescue. I'm having hip surgery this winter, tentatively on Feb. 19th at Mass.General. That has curtailed my teaching for winter and part of spring, but I hope to be back at it as soon as possible. Stay tuned.

On the 'art' scene, between my bronchitis (better, thank you very much) and being too busy making things for the two craft shows that I haven't done much art this month.... then the holidays will be my next excuse.

Will report on the Beverly show which is tomorrow. Hope they buy a lot, it's a drag to schlep everything back and forth......
